On Nov 5, Karim signed the American version of his novel, Pythagoras: The Mathemagician, at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Pentagon City, VA.

The event was actually a fundraising annual gala for the Rene Moawad Foundation.

The Book Signing was good. Karim also signed copies to the Elected Minister for Social Affairs Mrs. Neyla Moawad, a copy to the former American Ambassador to Lebanon Mr. Vincent Battle and a copy to the president of the world bank Dr. Paul Wolfowitz.

The gathering was one of the most interesting gathering of the Lebanese community and was successful to the Rene Moawad Foundation.
